Top 5 Bachelor Party Ideas That Won’t Keep You Single

All of you grooms out there know that there are tons of bachelor party ideas that can get you into a heap of trouble. Since I am assuming that the majority of you would like to start your marriage out on solid ground, I have come up with some interesting ideas for your last party as a single man. It is still possible to have fun without getting thrown into the slammer or worse, getting a shiner from your ex-fiancée! Keep reading to find out how!
Does this mean that no alcohol can be consumed? Absolutely, not! The more the merrier … to a point. Just make sure to have a designated driver or hire a driving service. And, everyone should avoid having bachelor parties the day before the wedding! You don’t want to send the wrong signal to your bride-to-be when the minister asks you to say, “I do”, and you are as pale as a ghost.
Here are the top 5 bachelor party ideas:
1. Casino Night. Bring the casino home! Rent some game tables or buy an inexpensive poker table at Academy. Get some poker chips. Dress the event up by visiting a discount party store, like PartyCity.com. If poker is not for you, there are plenty of great card games out there! Make sure to have some great music!
2. HorrorFest. Have a movie night with horror flicks! Have your party guests nominate a few movies each and then have a final voting round. Netflix.com is a great place to check out movie reviews. Spice up the night by having a few horror flick trailers to play before each movie. You can download them from iTunes. Get some movie posters to hang up. Rent a popcorn machine.
3. Mini Olympics. How about a little competition? Pick several different sports or activities like pool, ping pong, croquet, horseshoes, darts and even paintball. Come up with a scoring system and have awards. Awards can be custom trophies or other unique prizes. Make sure to keep hydrated.
4. Camping. This is a great way to get some relaxation and just hang out with friends. Make sure to pack bug spray, sunscreen, a lighter and plenty of liquids to drink. A hand-held GPS can help prevent a Blair Witch Project scenario. An interesting bachelor party gift could be a pocket knife.
5. LAN Party. Gather all of your friends’ computers or game consoles and connect them together for some top-notch, multi-player fun! Pick several games and have awards or bachelor party gifts to give out like custom made t-shirts.
Don’t have enough time to organize this all by yourself? Get your friends and even your fiancée to help out. Your fiancée could be especially helpful with the knowledge that her future husband is keeping his party relatively germ-free!

I think these are some great ideas! I can’t even think of anything to add to the list. My hubby and his buddies did a version of the LAN party. It was low key, but exactly what he wanted!
They don’t sound bad, although it’s obvious that a home-made bachelor party can’t replace the real casino or club party. It depends on each couple how they decide to spend their last night before the wedding, but in my opinion spending it in the club with your friends shouldn’t get you in trouble as long as you are truly committed to your future bride. After all, cheating is what makes your partner go crazy.
@Las Vegas Bachelor party – You make a good point. And, I am certain many people share your opinion. As hard as it may be to believe, there are people who would prefer a bachelor party at home. It may be because they don’t like clubs or they don’t have a budget for it. As for getting in trouble with your future wife, this is just a little humor added for the reader’s entertainment.
